Roppongi (literally "six trees") is a district of Minato, Tokyo, famous for its nightlife.

But Bon Bon is not much of a party person. He prefers coming here in the daytime.

Sakurazaka in Roppongi hills

Sakura season has come. People gather in the parks to enjoy hanami (花見), literally "flower viewing". They look at the cherry blossoms, eat, drink and stay under the trees as long as possible. Our Chow Bon Bon is also a great fan of sakura.
Today's hanami place is Sakurazaka (Cherry blossom slope) in Roppongi hills.

Starbucks at Roppongi Hills Mori Tower

Bon Bon is playing hide-and-seek while we are enjoying Creamy Vanilla latte with Lemony Swirl.

Kin no Kokoro in Mori Garden

Recently we took our Bon Bon to Mori Garden in Roppongi hills. This stubborn Chow Chow was reluctant to take a photo near Golden heart (Kin no Kokoro). But at last he gave up...

Mori Garden is one of the attractions of Roppongi Hills just behind the Mori Tower and Grand Hyatt luxury hotel. Kin no Kokoro was created in the pond by Jean-Michel Othoniel in 2013. He made this permanent art installation to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Roppongi Hills.

Christmas illumination in Roppongi Hills

Roppongi Hills is a perfect place to see Christmas illumination in Tokyo.
