Shirakaba in Japanese means "white birch". It is a beautiful lake which is surrounded by white birch forest. The area is popular for family trips. Very quiet and completely old-fashioned.

bon bon visits the most beautiful places! teddy would have gone straight into that lake. as much as she hates to get her paws wet, when she sees a lake she loves to go swimming!
